I'm now doing computer repair and other related things as a side business. Unlike everyone else in the area, I'm taking a flat-fee approach. For $100, I'll create a case file of whatever is wrong with your computer and fix it (any replacement parts are extra). No hourly rate, so you know I'm not padding the bill. Most basic fixes can be done on-site, with the more involved work requiring me to take the equipment back to my lab. If you have the same problem again after I've worked on it, I'll try again... no extra fees. I aim to do it right the first time.
